This project is a
two-story assisted living facility in Sequim, Washington. While the building
has conventional light-framed residential wings, the common spaces
are framed with a combination of structural steel and heavy timber.
The heavy timber members are connected with mortise and tenon
joinery, the details for which were developed with the heavy timber
contractor, Timbercraft Homes of Port Townsend, Washington.
