This West Seattle
multi-family project uses wall modulation and exterior decks to
maximize the views of Puget Sound. Pavers and planter strips on the
decks have special loading and detailing to
accommodate landscaping, waterproofing and ventilation requirements.
The superstructure is
engineered timber joists on wood studs and plywood shear walls.
The base levels are post-tensioned concrete slabs with concrete
walls and columns.
